Our Holiday Cottages
Our two luxury North Wales Holiday Cottages are in the grounds of our country house, ‘Tyddyn Mawr’ The Little Coach House
sleeps 2 and The Honeypot that sleeps up to 4.
Wander the romantic grounds, sit by the stream, picnic by the tranquil lake, walk along the river bank or simply enjoy the privacy of your own patio. There are some lovely beaches within a short drive, Borthygest, where the views are outstanding, also, from here you can walk along the dunes at the mouth of the estuary and Criccieth which has two beaches overlooked by its medieval castle and lots of good eating places.
In Porthmadog, our nearest town, there are the usual facilities which include an old Fashioned Cinema, Supermarkets and banks as well as two unique narrow gauge railways, with steam engines running along almost 40 miles of narrow gauge track through the spectacular scenery of the Snowdonia National Park. Do visit the Italian style village of Portmeirion, lovely gardens, walks and distinctive shops. The pretty village of Beddgelert at the foot of Snowdon has riverside walks along spectacular gorges and the RSPB have a viewing centre for the Ospreys who have made this their summer home.
